The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of Ukrainian marches targeting Diaghilev airports in the Ryazan province and Ingles in the Saratov military province, killing three Russian military personnel.

She added that a heavy retaliatory strike was directed at military command posts and other military infrastructure in Ukraine.
The ministry confirmed that despite Kyiv's attempts to confuse the Russian strategic aviation with this terrorist act, the Ukrainian military command and control system and the associated defensive sites received a strike that destroyed 17 vital targets.
