Strike: SNCF specifies the disruptions expected this Wednesday

“unitary strike”

launched on Wednesday on the first day of annual wage negotiations will disrupt the circulation of certain regional trains, as well as several TGVs and Intercités, in particular on Paris-Lyon and south of Bordeaux, SNCF said on Monday.

SNCF Voyageurs is also planning cancellations on certain TGVs or Intercités, in particular on the TGV Paris-Lyon axis due to a local movement of SNCF Réseau switchers, as well as for TGVs south of Bordeaux.

On the main lines, the travelers concerned will be informed by email or SMS in the event of the cancellation of their train.

In this case, the SNCF promises a full refund before the scheduled departure, or a free exchange on all trains where there is still space.

In any case, customers are invited to check the circulation of trains on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.

All the staff of the SNCF group are called to stop work by the CGT-Cheminots, SUD-Rail and the CFDT, in order to influence the mandatory annual negotiations (NAO) which open that day.

This movement comes after four days of very strong disturbances, a movement of the controllers having forced SNCF Voyageurs to cancel 60% of its TGV and Intercités from Friday to Sunday, and another 25% this Monday.

Other strike notices for controllers and signalmen have been issued for the weekends of the end of the year holidays.
