A young man died of a gunshot wound to the chest in his home in Jableh, Lattakia.
And the Ministry of the Interior said in a statement today: On 12-3-2022, the Jableh city police station was informed by the National Hospital police station that (Alaa Sh), born in 1994, had passed away after being shot in the chest from a military pistol in his house in the Al-Amarah neighborhood in the city of Jableh. Immediately, a patrol was dispatched from the center to the house of the deceased, and the pistol was found and seized.
The Ministry added: After the examination by the Medical and Judicial Examination Authority and the evidence patrol from the Criminal Security Branch in Lattakia, it was found that the cause of death was due to a heart and breathing stop caused by the rupture of blood vessels at the place where the gunshot had passed in the chest.
The ministry indicated that investigations are still ongoing to uncover all the circumstances of the incident.
