The man who was driving a taxi fainted and was "unmanned"

There was a serious car accident in Ma Tau Kok. At around 7:00pm today (5th), a taxi driver was driving along To Kwa Wan Road with passengers. When he was driving to the opposite of an industrial center at No. 94-100 To Kwa Wan Road, he suspected that he suddenly fainted. The taxi turned to the left.

At around 7:00 p.m. today (5th), a taxi driver was driving along To Kwa Wan Road with passengers. When he was driving to the opposite of an industrial center at No. 94-100 To Kwa Wan Road, he suspected that he suddenly fainted. The taxi turned to the left. Continuing to drive, he hit and pushed a 47-year-old South Asian man who was riding a bicycle at the junction of To Kwa Wan Road and San Shan Road, causing him to be involved in a container truck parked ahead, injured and unconscious.

The wounded Nanya Han was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. When he was sent to the hospital, his face was covered in blood and he needed first aid for extracardiac pressure. He is currently in the intensive care unit and is in a critical condition. The taxi driver was conscious and sent to the hospital.

Blood, debris and food were left at the scene, and the rear reel of the bicycle involved was damaged.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident.

It is understood that the injured person is an Indian national with a "street pass".

The police said that at the time of the incident, a man surnamed Sun (80 years old) was driving a taxi along To Kwa Wan Road eastbound.

On the way to the junction of Sanshan Road, he suspected that the tangent lost control and hit a 47-year-old non-Chinese man riding a bicycle in front. The man then hit a heavy goods vehicle parked on the side of the road and was trapped under the vehicle.

The firemen arrived and rescued the listless man. He suffered multiple injuries and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a coma for treatment.

As for the taxi driver surnamed Sun, he confirmed that he did not drink alcohol. He also reported dizziness and discomfort and was sent to the hospital for treatment. He was later arrested on suspicion of "dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm to others" and is currently being detained for investigation.
