Today, the Syrian Postal Corporation began paying end-of-service compensation to the demobilized military personnel from the first of September until the first of October, through its accredited centers in the governorates.

In a statement to SANA reporter, the General Director of the Syrian Post, Eng. Hayan Maqsoud, explained that the theater has the right to receive its compensation within four years from the date of demobilization, especially since the institution provides all possible facilities to obtain their dues.

And Maqsoud indicated that within the main center of the institution in the Hijaz region in Damascus there are 8 portholes, and two coffers have been added to ease congestion, in addition to the presence of 18 post offices distributed throughout the city of Damascus, each of which includes two coffers, in addition to the rest of the offices in the governorates.

In turn, the Director of Damascus Post, Raafat Al-Nayef, confirmed that the institution is keen, while providing the service, to address any problem that may arise during the process of paying compensation, pointing to the ease of the arrest process, as the theater can receive its dues immediately after announcing the date of payment of compensation from any post office close to it. whereabouts

Al-Nayef pointed out that work and hours in the main center and some offices have been extended until the compensation is paid to every demobilized soldier who is on the payment presses until the evening hours, to maintain the progress of the process.

Al-Nayef pointed out that the number of demobilized persons whose data was received by the Damascus Post Office is about 8,500, with a value of compensation amounting to about 22 billion Syrian pounds, while the number of those who received their compensation today from post centers in all governorates until the end of the day reached approximately 6,300 beneficiaries, with a value of 18 billion.

In turn, a number of the demobilized expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the process of obtaining their dues and compensation through the Syrian postal service, and Ali Hadda, Hazem Dalati and Muhammad Saad Al-Din indicated that the step of receiving compensation by mail eased many of the burdens of this matter, and saved all the beneficiaries a lot of time. and effort.
