"My friends (referring to the players of the Seleçao), I want to inspire you. I will attend the match (Brazil-South Korea ed) here from the hospital, and I will cheer for each of you a lot. We are together on this journey. Good luck to our Brazil!".

Thus Pelé, on Instagram, from the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo where he is currently hospitalized.

O Rei also posted a photo of himself, still a minor and in civilian clothes, walking in a Stockholm street together with Nilton Santos, in a moment of free time during the 1958 World Cup. Pelé accompanies the image with this 'captions ': "in 1958, in Sweden, I walked the streets thinking that I wanted to keep the promise I made to my father. I know that many of the Seleçao (today's ed) have made similar promises and will also go in search of their first World Cup World".
