World star Eros Ramazzotti comes to the Regensburg Castle Festival – a highlight at Thurn and Taxis

The Castle Festival is one of the big highlights in the event calendar of the city of Regensburg.
And the guest list for 2023 is already impressive.

Perfect weather for the Christmas market on the castle grounds of St. Emmeram.
With such a rather dreary winter weather, very few can imagine listening to exuberant pop music or the finest classical music in just that place, lightly dressed.
But the preparations for the Castle Festival in summer 2023 are already in full swing.
And the first top-class guests have already announced their arrival.

This year, for the first time after a two-year Corona break, the Castle Festival took place at the family seat of the princely family von Thurn und Taxis in Regensburg.
Famous guests gave their rendezvous.
Star violinist David Garrett, soul singer Gregory Porter and cuddly bard James Blunt delighted the guests.
With the diverse line-up, there was a major discussion about one person in particular.
Opera singer Anna Netrebko was also on the guest list.
Against the background of the war in Ukraine, the Russian is said not to have distanced herself clearly enough from the ruler Vladimir Putin.
So there was a quiet protest outside the gates of St. Emmeram, while the opera diva played her concert inside.

Some of the guests for 2023 have already been chosen, and one name in particular stands out.
The Italian mega-star Eros Ramazzotti will be in Regensburg as part of his world tour.
On July 23, the "Battito Infinito" tour will stop at Emmeram Castle and perhaps tempt Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis to dance exuberantly on stage again.
Ramazzotti is quoted as saying in the Schlossfestspiele press release: "I can't wait to see my fans around the world again," says the singer.
Look forward to his grandiose hits and a fantastic live show, because the star singer is simply “perfetto” live.
Patron of the Castle Festival, Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis, is already looking forward to the prominent guests next year.

In addition to the Italian mega-star, other artists have already announced themselves.
Opera singer Jonas Kaufmann will host a "festive opera gala".
In addition, it will be classical at the start of the festival, with a variant of Mozart's "The Magic Flute".
The British band Simply Red is already on the list of bands.
She recently performed in the Munich Olympic Hall and there was trouble with a folder.
