In recent days, the Airports Authority has placed signs near restaurants that sell certain products at duty-free prices at Ben Gurion Airport.
If in the past many people complained about overpriced coffee and ridiculously priced croissants, now Israel emphasizes where you can find a small snack before the flight, water and coffee for just a few shekels. The prices range from 5.6 shekels per product and reach up to about 13.7 shekels. The products that are under supervision are Espresso coffee, cappuccino, croissant and a half-liter bottle of water.

In addition to this, the Authority has attached a QR code on the restaurant tables, the purpose of which is to receive opinions from the passengers, so that if you have a complaint, a suggestion for improvement or a kind word, you can scan the code and inform the Authority's management about the experience you had on your way to the plane.
It is worth noting that the move comes a few days after the beginning of December, when a little less than two million passengers are expected to pass through Israel - a relatively high number compared to what we have seen in recent years, even if we compare the number to that of December 2019, just before the outbreak of the Corona epidemic. The most during December are expected to be Istanbul, Dubai, London, New York and the various Italian destinations.
