Afghan police said today: At least seven people were killed in an explosion targeting a bus carrying employees of an oil company in northern Afghanistan.
Reuters quoted Muhammad Asif Waziri, a police spokesman in Balkh province, as saying: "The bomb was planted in a vehicle placed on the side of the road, and it was detonated upon the arrival of the bus," explaining that the explosion also injured four people.
No one has claimed responsibility for the explosion so far.
There have been several attacks recently in Afghanistan, including attacks by the terrorist organization “ISIS”.
