The Syrian Forum for Culture organized a literary event for a group of poets whose participation varied in terms of form between prose and measured text, and in terms of language between eloquent and spoken.
The texts of the event, which was hosted by the Arab Cultural Center in Jableh, covered the concerns of the homeland and the repercussions of the terrorist war on Syria, in addition to the social, emotional, emotional and humanitarian concern.
The event was initiated by the poet Sarah Khair Bey with a vertical poem in which she sang about the capital of the homeland, Damascus, its heroics in the past, and its steadfastness today in the face of takfiri terrorism, in addition to a poem entitled Girls of the Arabs, in which she sang about Arab women in general, and Syrian women in particular.
The poet Ali Merhej also participated in a poem that carried the traditional form of the Arabic poem, distinguished by its new meanings and images, entitled Kasrb al-Layl, in addition to a sentimental, flirtatious poem that was distinguished by the sweetness of its music and meanings.
The female poets participated in a fourth friend with a text entitled “Memory”, “Aida Beladi” with a poem entitled “We Will Stay”, Hayat Khaddour with prose texts entitled “Shamou’ Al-Ashaq wa Sariq”, and Hamida Ismail with a text entitled “After the Old Man”, in addition to a spoken flirtation poem.
The poet Wassim Saleh also participated in a spoken poem entitled Where are you, my brother, dedicated to the Syrian martyr, which was distinguished by its high emotional outpourings and distinguished musical rhythm, in addition to another spoken poem entitled To My Mother.
The event was presented by poetess Yusra Nouira, and concluded by poetess Wadih Darwish, director of the Syrian Forum, with a poetic text that conveyed national concern and glorified the victories of Syria and its valiant army.
