(CNN Spanish) ––

The president of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, asked the country's justice to investigate a group of judicial officials, members of the government of the City of Buenos Aires and the multimedia Grupo Clarín for alleged collection of gifts and alleged non-compliance of duties of a public official.

According to Fernández, the supposed trip to the town of Lago Escondido, in Argentine Patagonia, of the officials mentioned in a journalistic report and that would have been organized by Grupo Clarín, contains two big questions: what would have been their financing and what purpose would they have had? Dyed?

CNN consulted with some of the people mentioned in the article, but none confirmed the existence of such a trip.

Despite this, President Fernández stated on a national chain: “It seems clear that the trip existed.

And everything seems to indicate that, knowing that the event had become news, those who would have participated in it were concerned about the real risk of being involved in a series of crimes.

The president made these comments after reading in his address a news item published by "a national media outlet."

The newspaper

Tiempo Argentino

said it had access to alleged Telegram conversations of the officials who would have made the trip.

CNN could not verify by its own means if those conversations are real.

One of those mentioned as an alleged crew member, and who appears in the alleged chats broadcast, is the Minister of Justice and Security of the City of Buenos Aires, Marcelo D'Alesandro.

Asked by CNN about the veracity of these conversations, D'Alessandro replied that during November he was the victim of a

hack

on his phone and for that reason he had filed a complaint.

Another of those indicated is Judge Julián Ercolini, who raised the Highway case in which Cristina Fernández de Kirchner is tried and this Tuesday it will be known if she is guilty or innocent.

Ercolini responded that he would not comment on the investigation requested by the president.

In turn, CNN consulted a representative of Grupo Clarín about the organization of this alleged trip and after more than five hours they received no response.

Fernández maintained that "for the first time the way in which certain corporations operate on officials, judges and prosecutors is exposed with enormous forcefulness, seeking favors that seek undue advantages or simply encourage persecution of those who confront them."

So far, the national government has not made a judicial presentation, despite the president's instruction to the Minister of Justice to do so.

In the City of Buenos Aires, legislators from the ruling Frente de Todos coalition filed two requests for political trials in the Legislature, one of them directed against D'Alesandro.

CNN consulted the minister's spokesman, who did not want to comment other than to clarify that he must go to the venue.
