As-Suwayda governorate announced that it will continue to provide its services at its headquarters, despite the damage caused by acts of vandalism by a group of outlaws two days ago, according to the available capabilities.
The Deputy Governor of As-Suwayda, Eng. Wael Jarbou, confirmed in a press statement today that the work will be continued in preserving its current situation, and preparing to manage the affairs of citizens, with a continuous presence of members of the Executive Office, each in his sector, coinciding with the start of cleaning work and removing traces of vandalism, to which most of the people were subjected. offices, pointing out that what happened will not discourage workers in the province from performing their duty towards citizens and starting work again.
Jarbou stated that the damage to the governorate and its contents is very large, and the cost of its rehabilitation, restoration and compensation requires exorbitant sums in light of the difficult current circumstances, and this will not be at the expense of any of the budgets allocated to service issues or deductions from them, so the restoration work will be delayed until the necessary funds are available. So.
On the other hand, some popular delegations from the city of As-Suwayda visited the governorate building, and were briefed on the extent of the damage caused to it and its contents, expressing their condemnation of such acts of vandalism and assault on public property and state institutions that are the property of citizens, stressing that preserving them is a moral and patriotic duty, and it is not permissible prejudice it under any circumstances.
The popular delegations pointed out that the people of the province were and will continue to adhere to their national positions, and their standing by the country and its institutions and with the rule of law, demanding accountability for the perpetrators of these acts that offend the history of the province.
