A golden piece of jewelry raises questions on "Bares for Rares" (ZDF): Is it a bracelet or an ankle bracelet?
One thing is certain: the gift not only has a special story, but also a high value.
Pulheim - Elke Burzynski has come from the state capital with her friend Nicola Dorschan and a special piece of jewellery.
A childhood friend gave her the golden ankle bracelet.
"He moved away with his mother at the time and wrote me a letter after 50 years without contact," says Elke Burzynski in the episode of December 1, 2022.

This became a pen pal.
One day, her childhood friend gave the Berliner the golden ankle bracelet from his mother's estate.
Elke Burzynski didn't have the opportunity to wear them herself.
That's why she wants to sell the piece of jewelry on "Bares for Rares" (ZDF).
Dirk Stender (77) also recently sold 120-year-old diamond earrings on the show, which he only had in his drawer.
Moderator Horst Lichter is deeply impressed by the "lump of gold" and its history.
And expert Heide Rezepa-Zabel, who also comes from Berlin, finds the piece of jewelry "quite charming".
However, you can also imagine the 20 centimeter long gold chain as a bracelet.
The ZDF flea show expert explains that the heirloom comes from Italy and was made in the 1950s.
Judging by its hallmark, it is made of 750 gold;
the weight is 120 grams.
Expert Heide Rezepa-Zabel gives a high rating for gold jewelry
"Every second link is gold-plated in red, it certainly adapts wonderfully to the skin tone," enthuses Heide Rezepa-Zabel.
With a pure material value of 5200 euros, the expert values the gold jewelery at 6000 to 6200 euros.
Pleased and a little excited, the two friends from Berlin continue to the dealers.

In the dealer's room, in which Elisabeth Nüdling from Fulda (Hessen) was not present this time, Daniel Meyer takes a closer look at the piece of jewelry.
The dealer from Münster should also open the auction: He offers Elke Burzynski 5,200 euros for the golden ankle bracelet.
But the Berliner does not give in: she does not want to sell the gift from her childhood friend for less than 5500 euros.
Recently, Kiernan Leahy also wanted at least 5,000 euros for his golden Inca pendant on the show.

Finally, dealer Elke Velten agrees and buys the piece of jewelry from her namesake for 5,500 euros.
The two friends from Berlin are satisfied and move on with the plan to make Cologne unsafe together.
