A suicide attempt occurred in the mid-levels of Hong Kong Island.
At about 2:00 in the morning, the authorities received a report from a woman that her husband climbed out of the window and sat in danger in a housing estate unit at No. 2 Majixian Gap Road, Mid-Levels.
The firefighters arrived at the scene and deployed a life-saving air cushion on the ground of the building. Until 3:15 in the morning, the man was still sitting by the window, confronting the rescuers.
Until 4:30 in the morning, the man returned to the room by himself after persuasion to calm down the incident.
