Earlier today, the education conference was held in the Knesset, which was called the "Emergency Conference on the Sale of the Liquidation of Education", in which Prime Minister Yair Lapid warned about the future of the education system under the emerging government.

He attacked the designated government and claimed that education "doesn't interest" its members, and therefore they are "dismantling the education system to pieces".

He was followed by MK Shlomo Karai from the Likud, who compared the apparent opposition to Antiochus. "History repeats itself," Karai claimed, "they removed the Bible and Israel's heritage from the high school diplomas, introduced anti-Zionist content through foreign associations and use the code names of 'cucumbers and green tomatoes' to to hide the darkness and obscurity from the parents of the children of Israel."
