Georgia midterm elections - the second round: More than two million people have already voted in the decisive phase of the race between the incumbent senator, Democrat Raphael Warnock, and the Republican candidate Herschel Walker.
Warnock, a pastor who preaches at a church in Atlanta where Martin Luther King once worked, won the first round, but fell short of the required 50% of the vote.
Walker is a former football player who was chosen as the Georgia running mate by former President Donald Trump.
A Warnock victory would allow the Democrats to gain the 51st seat in the Senate and thus consolidate their hold on its committees.
The polls will close at 02:00 (Israel time), and judging by the rate of counting and reporting in the first round, the results are expected in a little over a day.
