An indictment was filed today (Tuesday) with the district court in the city against Eliyahu Israeli (38), a resident of Beit Shemesh, after he was suspected of having committed serious sexual offenses against minors in Russia and Israel.

According to the indictment, the accused worked as a teacher and was later appointed as the director of the "Roshit Hochma" school in Moscow during the years 2012-2015.
On various occasions during his work, the accused committed sexual acts on a minor and two minors, aged 10-13, who studied at the school.
In several cases, the accused called minors to his room at school, locked the room and performed sexual acts on them.
In another case, during the lessons in which the defendant taught the minor, he called him, every day, to stand near the teacher's desk where he performed sexual acts on it.
During the accused's stay in Israel, during the last months, he committed serious sexual acts on a minor about 15 years old while staying at the accused's house, where he also took intimate pictures of him.
In addition, the accused photographed minors while they were naked in the mikvah and kept nude photos and videos of minors using the "Telegram" application installed on his cell phone.
The indictment attributes to the accused the commission of many crimes of an indecent act under the circumstances of incest, causing a sodomy act, an indecent act and possessing an abominable publication.
The prosecution asks the court to order the arrest of the accused until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
