Tehran-SANA
Today, the Public Relations of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps in Iran announced the dismantling of a sabotage network and the arrest of its members in Markazi province, in the center of the country.
Iranian TV quoted public relations as saying in a statement: “A network of 12 people linked to foreign elements was arrested in a city in Markazi province,” noting that “members of this network, under the guidance of counter-revolutionary elements living in Germany and the Netherlands, tried to carry out activities against national security, supplying military weapons and carrying out subversive activities.”
The statement indicated that investigations are continuing with members of the network to obtain more information about their activities and connections.
The Iranian authorities continue their efforts to pursue rioters, as they announced the day before yesterday the arrest of two leaders of acts of vandalizing public and private property in the city of Sanandaj, west of the country.
