Iran accuses Israel of ordering the attack
"
Other charges have been brought against six other defendants
," he added, without specifying which ones.
Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who had faced US sanctions for his role in Iran's nuclear program, was killed near Tehran in an attack on his convoy.
Tehran prosecutor Ali Salehi announced that "
15 people were indicted
" in this case, according to the Tasnim news agency, without naming them.
Iran has accused Israel of having ordered the attack, perpetrated according to Tehran by means, among other things, of a machine gun controlled by satellite.
Israel has never reacted to these accusations.
In 2018, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented Fakhrizadeh as the director of a secret military nuclear program that Iran has always denied existed.
