The wave of violence has been appearing in the media recently - and unfortunately, only this will cause the state authorities to act. It's a shame that when more than 100 Arab citizens are murdered every year, there is wireless silence. Is violence a "disaster"?

Maybe only when it comes to the Jewish community

The wave of violence has been in the media lately - and unfortunately, that's just what will make the authorities address the matter.

But it is unfortunate that when more than 100 Arab citizens are killed every year, complete silence prevails.

The difference in attention highlights above all the public-secret upbringing of Jewish supremacy and the separation of Arab society from the state

"Violence - a scourge of the country", "A country under violence", "Violence on the roads is rampant".

The headlines have been appearing in the various media and on panels recently, to describe the story of Israeli society, which in recent months has become its second name for violence in the public sphere - and even more so since the shocking murder of Yuri Volkov at the crossing in Holon about two weeks ago, which did not leave a single Israeli indifferent.

First, the very fact that the media deals with the issue and does not let go of it is to be congratulated.

With all the sadness involved, we all know that this is the only way things move in the country.

As soon as the media deals with a certain issue, only then do the relevant authorities in the country wake up from the coma that afflicts them most of the year and start moving and handling it to provide answers to the media and the public - sad, but this is the truth.

But at the same time, it is impossible to pass the agenda on the aforementioned headlines, which highlight more than anything the overt-covert education in most parts of Jewish society for Jewish supremacy and the "outsidering" of the Arab public. Otherwise, it is impossible to explain the fact that for several years now In the State of Israel, more than 100 Arab citizens are convicted of criminal offenses every year - and yet the rampant violence in the Arab communities has not yet been defined as a "scourge of the state", and Israel has not been defined as a "state subject to violence". The separation in the headlines, and the headlines that only come when it comes to Israeli society, illustrate more than anything the treatment granted, either directly or indirectly, to Arab society as an "ex-territory", which is not an integral part of the state.

Just try to imagine what goes through a police investigator or an ordinary policeman who comes to deal with a violent incident in one or another Arab settlement.

Will he treat him in the same way and with the same seriousness, when he sees that this is the treatment that the Arab citizens receive from the state institutions and the media?

Most likely not, and it's not solely his fault.

First and foremost, it is the fault of the atmosphere and education in Jewish society, for the outsiderization of the Arab public.

So what is the wonder, that a person who has grown up all his life with the message that "non-Jew, not interesting", when he reaches an influential position in the Israel Police or an editorial position in one or another media outlet - will see that the life of Ahmed of Nazareth is less important than the life of Yuri Mahlon?

Have you heard of arrests carried out in Arab society a few hours after or the next day after a murder case?

Have you ever turned on the TV and seen the headline "coup d'etat" following the shocking murder of an innocent person in Arab society?

And if anyone wonders why, then the answer is the atmosphere and education in the country.

True, it must be said in Rish Gali - the police made a switch in the last year in dealing with violence in Arab society, thanks in no small part to the "safe route" program led by the Deputy Minister of Internal Security, Yoav Seglovic.

We witnessed during the outgoing government increased enforcement in Arab society, and the year 2022 may bring, for the first time in eight years, a pause in the upward curve in the number of murders in Arab communities.

But, it is still not enough.

As long as this attitude continues towards the average Arab citizen, no one will be surprised that their blood is less valuable to the state and its institutions - which only gives the criminals a sense of fertile ground in which to grow.

Make a switch.

Make no mistake, no one is trying to present an image here that the wave of violence raging in Arab society is solely the product of neglect, disregard and non-enforcement on the part of the state.

There is no need to hesitate and say as clearly as possible, that this wave also contains quite a few elements that are a direct result of a lack of education at home.

A young man who sees crime as a way of life, whether it manifests itself in shooting at houses and property or shooting that leads to murder, is first of all under the responsibility of those who raised him.

In both Arab and Jewish society, there are people who have reached the age of 20, and their desire is not to become an engineer, scientist, researcher, doctor, or high-techist - but to acquire weapons, to feel "Abi Ali" and shoot at anyone who notices them.

The ones who need to take responsibility here, before the police and the state, are the parents - because quite a few of the murders in Arab society are exactly like what happened with Yuri Volkov, a nonsensical argument that led to murder.

Not everything is caused by criminal organizations, as they try to portray from time to time.

At the same time, it must be remembered that violence starts from parking on the sidewalk and disrespecting the public space.

When people see that the basic things are not enforced, it will end in shooting and violence - because they understand that no one enforces anything anyway.

Want to feel "Abi Ali".

And in conclusion, as long as the education for Jewish supremacy and outsiderization to the Arab public does not stop, we will continue to see this sad result.

Only a blind person cannot see the direct connection between the ignoring of violence in Arab society and the absence of Arab panel members on the various broadcasters, the fierce attack on a coalition that "Rahmana Litzlan" contained an Arab party, the insistence on not establishing Arab settlements to solve the housing crisis they suffer from, or an attack on promotion The government plan to empower and promote the socio-economic development of Arab society, as if only Jews pay taxes and there is no need to worry about Arabs;

Not to mention prime ministerial candidates, who aspired to have the Arab citizens reign over them, but chose to ignore their existence and made sure for years to submit Knesset lists without Arab representation.

Everything is connected and there is a direct connection between the multitude of issues - as long as there is no radical change in the education of Jewish society, this situation will continue.

One must act with all one's strength to change it, not give up and not let the grim reality prevail.
