Where can you find a new home for the little ones from Hirschgarten?
The lease will not be renewed and time is of the essence.
Munich - A small garden, a creative room and a play area, all of this is available to the children of the Hirschgarten Zwerge association at Wotanstraße 68 (Neuhausen-Nymphenburg) - but not for much longer.
The parents' initiative's rental agreement was not extended and expires on December 31, 2023.
Until then, the parents' initiative must find new premises, not an easy task in the tense real estate market in Munich.
Time is pressing, after all, a new place to live has to be redesigned and set up in a way that is suitable for children, these conversions take a considerable amount of time.

"We really need any help"
The association was founded in 2011 by Munich parents to counteract the lack of childcare places in the city - they could now face the same problem again.
Because the parents can't find a new place to stay, it means the end of the kindergarten.
18 children would then be on the street.
The team of four educators then also faces an uncertain future.
"We have already delivered flyers and tried everything, we really depend on any help," explains Wenzel Meurer, one of the fathers.
The parents' initiative is now looking for new rooms with an area of around 130 square meters or more in the districts of Nymphenburg, Neuhausen or Laim, ideally with a small garden of their own.
If you can help, send an email to kontakt@hirschgartenzwerge.de.
