Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro affirmed that his country and Syria are under the same terrorist attack, and that Venezuela stands by and supports Syria, expressing his confidence that Syria will continue to achieve its complete victory.
This came when President Maduro accepted the credentials of Kinan Zahreddine as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Syria to Venezuela, where Maduro asked to convey his greetings to President Bashar al-Assad.
During the meeting, which took place yesterday evening, Maduro stressed his country's readiness to provide full assistance to Syria in various economic fields and vital sectors, as he instructed Vice President for Economic Affairs and Minister of Oil Tariq El Aissami to start the necessary measures to activate the bilateral agreements signed, to form a joint Syrian-Venezuelan business council, and exchange Local products between both sides.
In turn, Ambassador Zahreddine conveyed the greetings of President al-Assad to President Maduro and the general friendly Venezuelan people, appreciating the Venezuelan political position in support of Syrian issues in all international forums.
