Oberau - Santa Claus also paid a visit to the road maintenance department this year and read aloud from his golden book.

Of course he insisted on taking a seat in a vehicle other than the sleigh - which is pulled by reindeer - to get a picture of the streets for himself.

There were only minor complaints, so the Krampus was allowed to continue his journey with an empty sack.
