A man from the overseas region of Guyana was sentenced on Monday to two years in prison, including one year, by the court of Compiègne (Oise) for money laundering.
Dico Naisso was intercepted by customs on November 30 with the sum of 34,980 euros in cash in his travel bag.
The 47-year-old man came from Angers (Maine et Loire) and was transported by an acquaintance, for 1,400 euros.

The two men were to go to the North, Dico Naisso, to Tourcoing and his driver, to Roubaix.
During their break, at the Ressons-sur-Matz rest area, the customs officers decide to check them.
