The strategy is obvious but has the merit of being effective.
In front of the press, Tuesday in the Assembly, Marine Le Pen announced that the RN group was going to take over the LFI bill on the reintegration of non-vaccinated caregivers, during its parliamentary niche on 12 January.
The text had already been defended by the Insoumis during their own niche at the end of November.
Due to lack of time following the "obstruction" of the majority - hundreds of amendments tabled - it had not been put to the vote, arousing indignation in the Unsubmissive ranks.
"They are not happy at LFI"
With this takeover by the RN, the deputies of LFI are therefore given a second chance.
Problem: the troops of Jean-Luc Mélenchon have always
stubbornly
refused to support any text from the troops of Marine Le Pen.
By taking up this bill, the president of the RN group therefore seeks to put the Insoumis on the back of the wall.
“They are not delighted at LFI but I regret it because on these subjects we must be able to go beyond a partisan and just political vision”
, she slipped during the press conference.
Will the Insoumis deputies be forced to review their strategic line?
“We will see how we can thwart what is a crude trap and a perverse and opportunistic manipulation
,” replied LFI MP Matthias Tavel on Tuesday to the press.
“If we hadn't had government obstruction, this text would have been adopted in our niche.
Those who are creating this perverse and opportunistic recovery by the RN, it is the government, not us”,
he also wanted to recall.
L'Insoumis nevertheless warned:
"Do not count on us to renounce a principle that we believe is fair, nor to make the slightest gift to the far right which has no lesson to give in terms of health"

Concretely, the LFI deputies could for example withdraw the famous bill from the services of the Assembly so that it is not recovered.
The consequences would still be quite limited: the RN group could simply rewrite a new, almost identical one.

The latter specified that her group had to

an action plan.
In reality, the debate has existed since the beginning of the legislature at LFI.
Some deputies are not opposed to possible and occasional support for RN texts when they are considered in the general interest.
