An Ebay classifieds chat, in which two users get into each other's hair, proves that Christmas shopping can be very stressful.

Munich - It's finally here.

It's Christmas, the most contemplative time of the year has begun, including Christmas markets, cookies and of course the preparations for the holidays.

For most Germans, this also includes looking around extensively for gifts for loved ones.

What sounds quite peaceful on paper, however, quickly degenerates into stress.

Because Advent is also the time of full inner cities, last-minute shopping and final attempts to work through the to-do list before the end of the year.

So it's no wonder that some people's nerves are a bit on edge in December.

Ebay classifieds: Christmas shopping escalates

Apparently this is also the case with these Ebay classifieds users, who got really angry when negotiating a gift.

It all started so peacefully, as can be seen from a Reddit post showing the two chatting.

The potential buyer apparently wanted to secure an offered Pokémon game for her son as a Christmas present.

The product offered is also still available, the seller assured with a happy emoji on Sunday.

So far actually promising.

The problem: After that, the seller doesn't seem to have received any more answers.

Exactly how long does he have to wait?

Unclear but seems to be at least 2 days.

Because the next message is again the seller, who impatiently writes "Hello?!".

This Ebay user was pretty angry.

He seems to hit a sore point with that, because the interested person reacts slightly annoyed: "Hello??

I'm at work.” Apparently she doesn't want to be pushed.

She met with little understanding from the seller, who promptly defended himself: "I've been waiting for an answer since Sunday (dl. Red.) or do you work 24 hours?"

The rhetorical question, however, backfires.

The chat partner is pissed off about the provocative question: "You don't seem to be working at all," she curses and continues: "I'm a nurse!

I've even got almost 48 hours behind me!" Then it even gets a little abusive and ends with a very decisive: "Sell your ugly Pokemon DS to someone else!!!

BLOCKED!"

Oof!

That was obvious.

Under the photo, tempers are clearly divided.

"It must have been a tough shift," says one commentator.

understanding.

Another Reddit user is looking for an explanation for the customer's reaction: "Lack of sleep makes you insanely bad mood.

For real.

And shift work creates chronic sleep deprivation.”

Others are a bit baffled and write: "It escalated pretty quickly." Some even accuse the nurse of cheating and suspect that nursing staff shouldn't work longer than 12 hours.

Of course, the veracity of the comment cannot be checked, but a user jumps into the breach for the nurse: "Understaffed, overcrowded + filling in for sick colleagues?"

A commentator finally tries to reconcile the sides: "So on the one hand I pack this passive-aggressive "Hello?" Neither do I, on the other hand, to insult someone so wildly... It's tough."

There have also been discussions on Ebay classifieds because of a sofa.
