The disposal of waste water for the large district town of Erding, the airport and for eleven municipalities in the districts of Erding and Ebersberg will be more expensive from January 1, 2023.

However, by how much is not yet clear.

Eitting/district – The general assembly of the Erdinger Moos Wastewater Association (AZV) passed this resolution unanimously.

The specific increase – the fee for one cubic meter of waste water is currently EUR 1.38 – will only apply in the spring and will therefore apply to around 15,000 house connections.

Wastewater fees are calculated for four years, the current calculation period ends on New Year's Eve.

In order to be able to make the next calculation, however, reliable figures are first required, which the AZV receives from the Bavarian Municipal Audit Association.

However, this calculation will only be completed in the first half of 2023, after which the association can create a new contribution and fee schedule.

The new prices will then be paid retrospectively as of January 1st.

In order for the auditing association to be able to start its survey, a retroactive decision is required, which the AZV meeting has now issued.

"It is not yet possible to say to what extent the price adjustment will take place," said association chairman Max Gotz when asked by some members.

"First of all we need the calculations of the auditing association, then we can work out our new prices." Gotz also did not want to give an approximate dimension: "That would not be serious, because the future price for waste water, in contrast to future electricity or gas Tariffs, any market speculation, it will be actual, resilient prices.”

Gotz also promised the community representatives to provide them with the same communication tool for all future price increases in the local media.

The topic was again the association's budget for 2023 (we reported in detail).

André Witzel, who worked out his first AZV budget as head of the finance department, once again presented the most important key data of the extensive set of figures, which totaled around 28.8 million euros.

"While the administrative budget is at the previous year's level in terms of income and expenditure at around 16.3 million euros, we were able to reduce the asset budget by around 3.7 million euros - from 16.2 million in 2022 to 12.5 million now," explained Witzel.

According to the new budget plan, plant operation (almost €5 million) and personnel costs (€5.2 million) are among the largest items in the administrative budget, as are technology (€6.5 million) and plant operation (€3.3 million). ) dominate the wealth budget.

The budget was passed unanimously, as was the 2021 annual accounts. Only two did not want to go along with the compensation statute for the members of the assembly.

Everyone else in the room agreed that association councils, who by virtue of their office, such as mayors, should now receive an attendance fee of 35 euros instead of the previous 15.

Association councils without this official status will in future receive 75 instead of the previous 60 euros.

Association chairman Max Gotz can soon look forward to 2,600 euros a year instead of the previous 2,082 euros.
