Is there another place where the tour begins with the story of Abraham our father and Sarah our mother, and ends with a painful and emotional salute to the martyrs of Israel who fell in the battles for the liberation of Jerusalem?

It seems that there is nothing more suitable than the Western Wall complex to make these natural but distant links;

And if the talk about the historical connection of the Jewish people to the holy place sometimes sounds like a cliché and maybe even said sometimes only from the tongue to the outside, the center of the chain of generations arrived and made them realistic and have a touching illustration.

In the thick of the earth, among fascinating finds from the second house, near the Wall, the story of the journey of the people of Israel was revealed.

The performance, located in the tunnels of the Western Wall, illustrates to every visitor how much Jerusalem is a part of him - as it was for our ancestors in the distant past, as it is for our relatives who fought for it since the establishment of the state, and as it will be for each of us and our children in the future.

Visiting the exhibition connects us to the long journey that the Jewish people went through and to the past generations, which together make up one long and exciting chain, passing from family to family and generation to generation - exactly in the most significant place for him.

The center was opened after implementing advanced technologies and a face lift that makes visiting the exhibition an unforgettable experience.

In an air-conditioned and impressive complex, visitors walk from room to room, as if they were in a time tunnel, thus passing from period to period in the history of the Jewish people and experiencing firsthand the connection of the capital city to the history of Israel.

The performance expresses a personal connection to the chain of generations: special emphasis was placed on the personal connection of each and every one of us - a link in the same long chain that stretches from the past to the future - and all as part of the journey and longing that the Jewish people experience, as expressed through the stones of the Wall.

Huge glass panels, weighing about 12 tons, were built on the spot and display the addresses relevant to each station.

And this performance has a unique presenter.

"The spirit always remains", sings Avitar Banai in one of his songs, and he is actually the personal tour guide of every group that comes to the place.

As part of the audio visual that accompanies the tour, each station ends with a few personal words and a short song from the singer who represents the royal family of the Hebrew singer today - the Banai family that represents Eretz Israel from A to Z.

Banai, in moving texts, shares, among other things, his personal experiences as a child who grew up here, as a young man who toured the Auschwitz camp, and as an adult who is connected to the city to this day, and sings about it together with his father.

The various stations deal with the fathers of the nation, the tribes of Israel, the people who lived during the destruction of the Temple, the Amorites and the conditions, and reaches up to our present day - through the memory of the Holocaust, the revival of the people and the land and a show of respect for the soldiers who fought for the defense of the homeland.

The tour ends with a peripheral video in which Banai sings "Yahed", while the pictures of the parents, children and tourists in the room accompany the vision, and become part of the event themselves.
