For many years, the Tesla community has puzzled over the meaning of the famous Tesla logo.
The meaning is completely different than assumed - and is based on an error.
Stuttgart – The electric car manufacturer Tesla is now one of the best-known car brands in the world.
Founded in 2003, the company grew under boss Elon Musk - and had to struggle through some difficult years.
In court, multi-billionaire Musk tells of the time when many thought electric vehicles were a joke.
In the meantime, many should have discarded their doubts about Tesla, because the company has enjoyed immense success.
Many now associate e-cars with the famous "T" in the Tesla logo.
However, what many did not know: The "T" in the Tesla logo does not actually stand for the brand name of the electric car manufacturer.
It has a completely different meaning - and it's not entirely error-free, as

Fans puzzled for years: The "T" in the Tesla logo does not stand for Tesla, but represents an electric motor
For many years, there was a mystery among Tesla fans about the company's logo.
In forums there was speculation and puzzling about the meaning of the Tesla logo.
Because contrary to what might be assumed, the “T” shouldn’t stand for the Tesla brand name.
Tesla boss Elon Musk confirmed on Twitter in 2017 that the logo should show the cross section of an electric motor and is based on a drawing by the inventor Nikola Tesla.
The logo of the electric car manufacturer Tesla is known to many.
Contrary to popular belief, however, the "T" does not stand for the brand name.

The now well-known Tesla logo was finally designed by the company RO Studio, which is also responsible for the logo design of Musk's space company SpaceX, as

reports.
Its X symbolizes the trajectory of a rocket, as the multi-billionaire once explained.
For the Tesla community, this explanation seems to make sense.
Many do not know: Tesla logo contains design errors
What many people don't realize when they see the Tesla logo is that a small design error has crept in.
This was discovered by Daniel Fourie, who, after many years of intensive study of the logo, already suspected that it might represent an electric motor.
He shared his theory on the
Quora
community platform .
On closer inspection, however, the Tesla fan revealed that it is a detailed cross-section of a DC motor - but these are not installed in Tesla's e-cars.
The illustration of an AC motor would have been correct.
