The Colombian authorities announced that the landslide that occurred in the northwest of the country last Sunday, burying a passenger bus and a number of cars, killed 34 people.
And the news agency AFP quoted the Colombian Emergency Services Department as saying in a statement that among the 34 victims, there are eight minors, and nine other people are receiving treatment in hospitals in the region.
And she explained, "As a result of heavy rains, part of the mountain collapsed and buried many vehicles that were traveling on the road below, including a public transport bus with 33 people on board, a car carrying six people, and a motorcycle with two people on board."
A previous toll indicated that 27 people were killed as a result of a landslide and landslide in the Risaralda region, northwest of Colombia.
