Most of the time, it's screws that go into car tires in Germering, not nails.
The effect is the same.

Drivers in Germering keep discovering screws in their tires.
Apparently, teachers at the Max-Born-Gymnasium are hit particularly often.
Is someone targeting the educators?
Germering – Karin D. (name changed) will not soon be forgotten this Thursday.
When the teacher from the Max-Born-Gymnasium returned to her car, which was parked on Am Stadion street, a screw and washer were stuck in one of her tires.
Damage: around 200 euros.
It is not the first case of this kind. "This has been going on for a number of years, and now around 20 teachers have been affected," says Karin D.
Doubly burdensome
Principal Robert Christoph knows the problem.
His employees have been discovering screws in their tires for a long time.
This is doubly burdensome for teachers.
For one thing, they would suffer financial damage.
Even worse is the insecurity among the teachers.
Because the foreign bodies in the tires are not harmless.
The principal doesn't even want to imagine what would happen if a tire suddenly deflated on the freeway.
If students are responsible for the tire attacks, that would be a strong piece for Christoph.
"That would go well beyond a prank."
However, Robert Christoph is not sure whether teachers are really targeted victims of the attacks.
Because even drivers who have nothing to do with the school have already discovered screws in their wheels.
"We can't really see a pattern," says the principal.

A series is not recognizable
The matter is also a mystery for the Germeringer police.
When asked, a spokesman explained that teachers felt uncomfortable or threatened.
It has already caught several.
But even the police are not sure whether it is really against teachers.
In the most recent case, the investigators even assume that the teacher accidentally drove in the screw and washer herself.
A series of attacks on the tires of teachers at the Max-Born-Gymnasium was not recognizable from the police point of view.
The educators will hardly be satisfied.
But you can't do much.
It usually hits cars that are parked on public land, according to headmaster Robert Christoph.
But the situation will be monitored closely.
"We remain vigilant."
