The investigation into the assassination attempt tonight (Tuesday) on Route 6 reveals that the suspects, for whom a manhunt is still ongoing, blocked the Lamborghini car, stabbed the driver and passenger and left the scene.
After some time, while a medical team was treating the injured, the attackers returned to the scene and opened fire on the occupants of the luxury vehicle.
According to passersby, the suspects stopped a taxi, opened the door, took out the driver and fled the scene.
The two victims, who were seriously and moderately injured, are residents of East Jerusalem, who are known to the police.
According to the suspicion, the background to the incident is a criminal dispute.
The investigation reveals that the details of the assassination attempt were planned, so that the Lamborghini car would be blocked in a tunnel near the Ben Shemen intersection, where the passengers would be attacked.

The victims, aged 31 and 46, were evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva with penetrating injuries.
MDA paramedic Elad Polak and medic Shlomo Levy said: "Inside the tunnel we saw a vehicle standing on the side and nearby was a man with penetrating injuries and another man also with penetrating injuries.
We gave them life-saving medical treatment and evacuated them to the hospital, with one in serious condition and the other in moderate condition."
