Homs, SANA- Within the framework of the national campaign to investigate cancer in Homs, the two mobile clinics started today in the Syrian regions.

Within the framework of the national campaign to screen for cancer in Homs, the two mobile clinics in al-Makhram and al-Mushrifah areas began their work today by receiving citizens who wish to undergo free check-ups for (breast, cervix and prostate) cancers.

The head of reproductive health in the Homs Health Directorate and the executive supervisor of the campaign, Dr. Muhammad al-Aboud, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that in order to ensure the broadest benefit for the residents of those areas, free transportation will be provided from neighboring population centers to the two clinics and vice versa, in coordination with the governorate, pointing out that the two mobile clinics In Raqama and Rastan they will finish their work within this week.

The head of the health district in Al-Mukharram, Dr. Esmat Dallah, described the citizens' turnout for the mobile clinic since this morning as good, indicating that it was located opposite the health center to ensure the ease and convenience of conducting examinations and obtaining medical services for citizens.

And Dallah indicated that the clinic, which will provide its free services until the 13th of this month, will provide screening tests for cancer for citizens coming from the villages of Makram Fawqani, Makram Tahtani, Nawa, Umm al-Amad and al-Sankari, while the residents of the villages of Jub al-Jarrah and al-Masudiyah will be transferred to the mobile clinic and returned by means of transportation. campaign specific.

Regarding the work of the mobile clinic in Al-Mishrifah, the head of the fourth health zone, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abbas, said that it receives the people of Al-Mishrifah and its surroundings, such as the villages of Ain Al-Danair, Jabriya, Warida, Ain Al-Nisr, Kafr Abd, Ashrafieh Al-Ismailia and Badu, and will continue to provide its services until the 24th of this month.

It is noteworthy that the campaign to investigate cancer in Homs will continue until the 10th of next January.
