Under the auspices of the President, Lieutenant General Bashar al-Assad, Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, the graduation of the thirty-seventh course of command and staff was celebrated today at the Higher Military Academy. President al-Assad was represented by General Ali Mahmoud Abbas, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Minister of Defense.

After reviewing the guard of honor, the ceremony began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of our righteous martyrs, then the national anthem of the Syrian Arab Republic was played.

General Abbas, representative of the sponsor of the celebration, delivered a speech in which he conveyed President al-Assad's congratulations to the graduate officers, and his wishes for success and success in carrying out the tasks that await them alongside their comrades in the army and the armed forces, stressing the importance of developing the sciences and knowledge gained during this session by keeping up with everything new in the fields of Military flag.

The Minister of Defense stressed that the colonial project prepared for Syria is an old and new matter, and the invaders and greedy have always tried to plunder its resources and the capabilities of its people and target the elements of its steadfastness, stressing that the terrorist war that is being waged against our beloved homeland, and the unfair siege that affects all our people by depriving them of obtaining the most basic requirements What is necessary for their survival comes first and foremost in the service of well-known colonial agendas aimed at undermining our will, our steadfastness, and our dignity.

The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces thanked the Supreme Military Academy and the College of Command and Staff for the leadership and trainers for the great efforts made in the service of science and knowledge acquisition, stressing the importance of our army remaining with its brave officers and soldiers as it has always been the hope of this people and the habitat of its hope and aspirations. The Director of the Higher Military Academy also delivered a speech in which he explained that the graduate officers, during the duration of this course, were able to refine their science and knowledge at the hands of a group of trainers with high scientific competence, and to obtain the necessary expertise at the tactical and operational level that enables them to succeed in executing the tasks entrusted to them now and in the future. The first graduate gave a speech in which he stressed the importance of applying the information that the graduates received at the Academy in a practical reality in the field, and contributing effectively to raising the level of combat readiness of our armed forces in the midst of our decisive battle against terrorism and its supporters.

After that, the order of success was read, and certificates were distributed to the first graduates.
