Following Morocco's victory against Spain at the Football World Cup on Tuesday 6 December, supporters of the "Lions of the Atlas" swept all over France, and particularly in the Paris region, where the Moroccan community is important.
A crowd of individuals notably marched on the Champs-Élysées, and in the district of Châtelet-les-Halles, smoke bombs in hand, on foot or by car.
Many police officers were present on the scene to monitor the situation.

Fireworks were also set off in Nice, while the president of the Lignes d'Azur board, in charge of public transport in this city in the Alpes-Maritimes, deplored on Twitter a "

These events come less than a week after previous demonstrations of joy in Paris, but especially in Brussels, where 18 people had been arrested.
Hundreds of people marched in the streets after Morocco's victory over Canada on Thursday.
They had waved flags and fired off fireworks.
In Antwerp, 35 people were arrested and three police officers injured.
