Tonight will be the Day of Hila of the holy tzaddik Atarat our Roshino Rabbi David Avichatzira ZA Hashem Yankum Damo, the author of the books "Sifa and Risha" and "Opening the Tent", which will focus on the sanctification of Hashem on Shabbat Malkalta 14 of the month of Kislu.

Crowds across the country will celebrate his passing and many are expected to come to his holy place in the city of Risani in Morocco.

In words of encouragement delivered by the Rebbe Rabbi Yosiah Pinto to his students, he unfolds the miraculous life of Rabbi David ZIA and the story of his cruel death in the middle of Shabbat.

Here are the full words of Rabbi Pinto:

Yoma Dehilula of King David, Rabbi David Abu Hachira the 14th. Here, the treatise on King David's life and execution by the sons of iniquity, should be like a holy beacon to us for generations.

Here in ancient times, the pursuers of the Torah and the mitzvot found various hardships to justify the spiritual paralysis of the people of Israel, and in every generation a new plot arose and stood.

There were generations who persecuted the Torah and the rabbis on the pretext of interfering with the proper order of government, there were generations who passed decrees on the pretext of prohibiting the study of the Torah and so on, in every generation our brides rise up against us and G-d saves us from them.

And here on this day, King David's day of celebration, women are before our eyes and we wake up He was remembered by the act of his execution in the Kiddush of God.

Rabbi David was known as a supreme saint, he wrote three essays: "The Opening of the Tabernacle" - on five Pentateuchs of the Torah, "Shakal Tov" - on midrash and moral matters, "Risha and Sipa" which explains the connection between the end of a parsha and the parsha after it.

And we know what the sages of his generation said, that these three books were written by the Holy Spirit.

Our Rabbi David went through great suffering, his two wives died and his seven sons died in his lifetime, but he was always in joy and with great love for G-d, and all his life and his soul was only the worship of God. It is known the immense holiness of his eyes, because he was careful about the holiness of his eyes and the vigilance with which he restrained himself,

In one of the years, on the day of the hilula of Morar Zakno Rabbi Yaakov Abu Hachira, Rabbi David asked that the holy book of Morar Zakno Abir Yaakov be brought before him, he took hold of the book "The White Cleavage" and singled out some unique ones, and behold a miracle his one eye was opened and he began to see in it .

And when his disciples pressed and begged him for his other eye, he said to them: It is enough for me to see with one eye and worship God with one eye.

In those days, the great war broke out between Christian France, and Arab Morocco and the French.

In the year 1777, they conquered Morocco as well as the province of Sharabino was Mara Datra, but after a short time, an evil and tyrant leader named Moulay Mahmoud bin Qasim Yamash emerged and flourished, who declared himself like a martyr, who is a direct descendant of their prophet, and started a religious war And sanctified against the Christians and oppressing the Jews, and went and established his capital in the city of Risani, the seat of the Abu Hachira family.

And here from day to day the cruel leader passed severe sentences on the Jews, he forbade them to use tobacco because he claimed that tobacco was a product of the devil, as well as different and different decrees every day.

And every time his treasures were depleted, he would impose harsh taxes and decrees on the Jews.

On the eve of the holy Sabbath, before the 14th in Kaslo, he went and issued a severe decree that it was clear and he knew that the Jews were helping the Christians and the French to conquer Morocco again, he went and released the blood of all the members of the community. Fear and terror gripped all the members of the community, knowing that at any moment the bloodthirsty would rise up and spill the They bled, old women and children in one day.

On that Sabbath night all the members of King David's household were shocked, when they were used to seeing him every Sabbath night dressed in white as the angel of the Lord, and on that Sabbath, when he came out of the attic, entered his room, he came out dressed in black clothes and his face was downcast. And so he got up and went to the synagogue in black clothes, which further clouded the atmosphere and the concern of the entire audience.

The next day, on the holy Sabbath, the time of Rewa Daravin, the same bloodthirsty commander came and asked to gather all the Jews in the city square, the whole community realized that their one religion was to kill them.

The cruel oppressor began to count and check all the heads of the crowd with his eyes, but he was missing one, King David the 14th was not among all the Jews standing in the city square. In great anger he screamed and said where is he? His soldiers brought him to see what he was doing. When the besieging enemies entered his house, they found him sitting and studying Shabbat Mishniot and in his mouth the words of the Mishnah in Okatzin (chapter 3, 12): "Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi said that the Almighty God will bestow on every righteous person seven worlds."

When Rabbi David was brought before that wicked Mulai Muhammad Yamash, the evil one asked him, why do you write letters to the unbelieving Christians and urge them to return here? King David calmly replied, God forbid I do this, my lord. And King David's calm and calm speech took him off his balance and he immediately gave an order to execute King David and together with him two of the wealthiest of the city, Rabbi Yitzchak ben Simhon the 14th and his son Rabbi David the 14th

.

Rabam

, but the oppressor stood his ground, and so they led the three martyrs to the edge of the square, where there stood a large cannon, and by the decree of that wickedness, they tied Rabbi David to the cannon and thus shot his pure body.

and bloom in the air.

That evil torturer passed a decree on that day, that those who cry or feel sorry for Rabbi David, will be executed, and even the body of Rabbi David did not agree to hand it over to his family members and the Jewish community, only after many days and many forty were paid, they agreed to secretly give his holy body and on the condition that they bury him in secret .

And so in a sad and painful funeral without crying or sorrow, so that the people of the evil oppressor YMSH would not see that they were crying, the Kadisha friends dug two pits, in one pit they buried Rabbi David and covered it with sand so that they would not see that he was buried there, and in the second pit they placed shrouds and decorated it and watered it so that they would think that he was buried there Days passed, and the evil tyrant Yamash sent his soldiers to open the grave and remove the body and receive a monetary ransom, but they found nothing there.

Here, in these generations, even though the most severe decrees are being passed on the people of Israel and on the wise men of Israel, those who persecuted the Torah and the Jewish people in various persecutions, we must pray for the wise men of Israel, that God will remove them with a narrow hand. And whoever gives of himself to honor the wise men in these difficult times , he has a right and he has a partner for him and his sons after him with the dedication of their lives that gave their lives. And whoever follows the persecutors of the religion and the Torah in all their kinds and history, he is a partner in the destroyers of the religion whose buds began with Dathan and Aviram.

And here, on this day, is not this saint of King David about whom his generation said "Sult Pure clean Rabbi David Abu Hachira" and he is a living man who rose to heaven in the lands of the living.

Let us strive to single out our souls and light a candle for the ascension of his soul, and may there be in heaven a litz of honesty before the throne of honor on our behalf and on behalf of all our brothers, the House of Israel, who are in a generation of constant war between light and darkness. May we have the right to correct the world in the kingdom of God and multiply. The honor of the Torah and the many honors of Heaven everywhere and we will have a complete redemption soon.
