“Social trend”: DJK Waldram cannot find management personnel

Despite the support of premium sponsors Krämmel and Brumaba, finding a board at DJK Waldram is difficult.

The DJK Waldram sounds the alarm: There were no candidates for the chair at the annual meeting.
Waldram – Three years ago, Werner Henschelchen resigned as chairman of DJK Waldram.
His successor was Robert Linder, who now also made his office available.
The search for a new chairman has so far been unsuccessful.
Even a call for help from Henschelchen during the most recent annual meeting had no effect.

"This meeting was announced in advance, in addition to the proper invitation in the press, with written appeals from the association to the members so that suitable candidates could be presented for the upcoming board elections," explains Antje Bütow.
The head of the judo department regrets that nobody wanted to take over the vacant posts of first and second chairman.
The post of treasurer also remained vacant.
Myriam Partisch was chosen as secretary.
Kay Zarnow, an active member and head of the DJK tennis department, submitted an application on time and on time to enable the club to be rescued.
Accordingly, the future board of directors should receive an expense allowance and an office should be installed.
A tax office should ensure the relief of the treasurer.
"Following discussions, this application was generally positively evaluated by the members: A decision will be made at the next annual meeting in spring 2023," announces Bütow.
Ideally, a board election will also be possible at this point in time.
The DJK Waldram is basically doing well
In general, the club is in good shape.
Of the twelve departments in total, the G and F youth footballers are particularly popular.
The number of members increased from 813 in 2019 to 901 members now.
Some athletes have achieved notable successes in the recent past.
The high jumper Wilhelm Martin secured the German championship title in 2019 at the senior M 50 indoor championships in Halle (Saale).
Antje Bütow is aware that many other clubs are currently having problems filling their mostly honorary board positions.
"Unfortunately, that seems to be a social trend," she says in an interview with our newspaper.
Remuneration for management positions with a financial allowance is intended to counteract this development.
