A man in Middle Franconia fainted while working on the roof of the house, his wife saved him from falling.

The emergency doctor could only determine death.

Nuremberg – The integrated control center in Nuremberg alerted the fire brigade on Tuesday evening (December 6).

You should save a "fall-endangered person from the roof of a two-storey apartment building".

On site, the emergency services gained access to the roof through an attic apartment.

On the other side of the roof ridge, they found a woman "who saved her lifeless husband from falling unsecured and with her bare hands," according to the Erlangen-Höchstadt district fire brigade association.

The man had obviously wanted to repair the satellite dish connection on the roof and had passed out there due to a previous illness.

"After a provisional self-belay, the emergency services managed to save the woman from the roof, bring her back to the building and hand her over to the rescue service, who had arrived in the meantime," it said.

The permanent duty of the criminal police took over the further investigations.
