A car thief in Haifa collided with a traffic light while fleeing and at the end of the chase was arrested by the police: at the beginning of the week an indictment was filed against the suspect.
On November 28, the suspect stole a car in the Haifa area, a short time later the car was found while driving by the police and they ordered him to stop. The driver of the stolen car began to flee when the police followed him as he "cut off" the police car and drove in a dangerous manner.
After a few minutes, the suspect driver caused an accident and fled the vehicle.
The police started a foot chase after him, managed to find him and arrest the suspect, a 21-year-old resident of Jenin, an illegal resident of Israel, who has never issued a driver's license.
In his actions, the suspect caused damage to the car he stole worth NIS 80,000 and damage to the traffic light he collided with worth NIS 25,000.
