With the aim of creating consumer-facing solutions in the field of electricity, Engineer Bilal Al-Essa designed and implemented a home automation system that can control everything that works on electricity in the home in an easy and simple way.

Engineer Bilal Al-Essa, a graduate of the Applied College of Electronic Technology from the University of Aleppo, explained to SANA reporter that his project is a smart circuit breaker panel instead of regular circuit breakers, allowing any load connected to it to be turned on or off at any time the user desires through an application for Android devices in the (Wi-Fi) communication system. ).

As for the uses of the smart circuit breaker box, between Al-Essa, it can control heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, security, protection and energy management by any user, especially patients and people with special needs, which contributes to saving electricity or consuming the battery when using alternative energy, pointing out that the device is connected through an access point (IP) with a specific password of its own, so that the consumer can protect the box of circuit breakers from illegal use, indicating the possibility of operating several devices distributed throughout the house and controlling them through the application on the cell phone screen, and they are programmed according to demand.

Al-Essa added: The product is available in four versions, which are a version of the Bluetooth communication system to operate two loads with a manual control interface through an application installed on the cell phone, and three versions of the (Wi-Fi) connection system up to 11 loads that feature a protection system from high or low voltage in the network with an interface Control via an application on the cell phone.

Al-Essa stated that the aim of his project, which entered the market and was completed under the supervision of Engineer Firas Bakour, is to provide a product that competes on the local scene by relying on local materials. With 4 loads.

For his part, Sameh Shehabi, one of the users of the product, said: When installing a solar system, it was suggested to install a smart circuit breaker, because of its advantages in monitoring the operation of energy and loads, the mechanism of charging the battery, adjusting the timing of the total operation during the hours of the night and day via the cell phone, controlling all loads in the house, and saving on electricity. System consumption to obtain maximum continuity, indicating that its performance is good and works efficiently without any problems.

The project entitled (Design and Implementation of a Smart Circuit Breaker Panel) participated in the exhibition of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering for projects, which was held last October at the University of Damascus, with the participation of 195 projects from Syrian public and private universities.
