In Munich, there have been repeated protests by the climate movement “Last Generation” in the past few weeks.
Also on Tuesday morning, December 6th, there were several traffic blockades in and around Munich.

Update from December 6, 9:21 p.m.:
Eleven activists gathered at the Prielmayerstrasse/Karlsplatz intersection.
According to the police, eight of them glued themselves to the street and one activist to a colleague.
The climate demonstrators blocked both lanes and after a short block the protest was broken up.
The activists are taken to police headquarters for further investigation.
More details are expected on December 7th.
Update from December 6, 12:27 p.m .:
The protest actions of the group “Last Generation” repeatedly disrupted parts of the traffic in Munich on Tuesday.
The activists had already carried out actions on the motorways and at the Stachus on Monday.
At a press conference, which dealt in particular with the elimination of the corona mask requirement in Bavarian public transport, Florian Herrmann, head of the State Chancellery, commented on the protests.

"These are criminal acts that are carried out with notification," says Herrmann.
The fact that the actions were classified as demonstrations in advance is incomprehensible.
As a result, the KVR hinders the police in their work.
“That sends the wrong signal completely,” complains the minister.

The blocking of the “Last Generation” group has now been resolved.
A police spokeswoman said there were no longer any impairments on the A9 later in the morning.
The officials also cleared the blockade at the exit of the A96.
However, activists from the group also stuck to a nearby road.
They should now be pulled off the road.

The group “Last Generation” shared a video via Twitter showing the beginning of one of today’s protests.

Munich - It was not until Monday, December 5th, that the climate group "Last Generation" protested at the Stachus and on the Autobahn in Munich.
The activists had announced themselves at the Stachus, but not the actions on the motorways near Munich.
