Today (7th) at 12:37 noon, the police received a report that a woman was suspected to have fallen from a height of Block 5, Jun Ying Phase 1, Tseung Kwan O, and lay down on the platform above.
The police and ambulancemen arrived at the scene after receiving the report. The female victim was unconscious and sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for emergency treatment, but unfortunately she was confirmed dead at 1:36 pm.
After investigation, the police confirmed that the 39-year-old female victim surnamed Gao lived at the above address. It is believed that she fell from the unit. The police did not seize a suicide note at the scene. The cause of death is yet to be determined after an autopsy.
It is understood that the female victim was unhappy because of life problems during her lifetime.
