Critical readings within a literary meeting in the Palestinian Writers Union

The literary meeting held by the General Union of Palestinian Writers and Journalists included critical readings in the prose poem and its artistic composition, in addition to various poetry readings with the participation of a number of critics and poets.

Poets Radwan Qasim, Salim al-Maghrabi, Ali Abu Rosa Renno, Akram Saleh al-Hussein, Muhammad Hassan Muhammad, Thabet Muallem, Tamader Odeh, Ahmed Saleh, Ahmed Nassar, Mohiuddin Kazem, Laila Nassar and a number of young poets presented various literary texts that included different topics at varying levels.

For his part, the poet Bakour Al-Aroub presented a critical reading that dealt with the texts of young talents, in addition to dealing with the prose poem, its origins, its development, and its place among the literary genres, and the need for positive components and data that achieve a real status for this type of literature.

As for the poet Saleh Hawari, rapporteur of the Poetry Association at the Palestinian Writers Union, he presented a brief vision of the prose poem and its artistic level, which often makes it bear the character of poetry. He reviewed some of the poets who wrote prose poems, which dealt with most social and human issues in different ways.
