The regional defense headquarters of the Donetsk People's Republic announced that 4 civilians were killed as a result of Ukrainian shelling on the republic's territory during the past 24 hours.
"The Ukrainian bombing during the past hours on the territory of the Republic resulted in the death of 4 people and the wounding of 14 others," Russia Today website quoted the authority as saying in a statement.
Ukrainian forces continue to target residential areas in the Donetsk People's Republic and other areas that recently joined Russia on a daily basis, causing many civilian casualties.
