Beijing - China is moving away from its strict zero-Covid policy.
The leadership in Beijing announced nationwide easing on Wednesday and unveiled a new ten-point plan for easing quarantine, PCR testing and lockdowns.
The new guidelines of the National Health Commission provide, among other things, that corona-infected people with no or mild symptoms can “generally isolate themselves at home”.
China also wants to reduce the scope and frequency of corona tests.
