Tragic accident on the A93: In Lower Bavaria, a man (65) was hit by a vehicle on the Autobahn after an accident and fatally injured.
Siegenburg – The fatal traffic accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon around 4 p.m. on the A93 towards Regensburg between the Siegenburg and Abendsberg junctions.
The 65-year-old got out of a car after an accident and was hit by a following car in the right lane and fatally injured.
He died at the scene of the accident.

The man was a passenger in a car.
According to the police, the vehicle with five occupants had touched the central barrier on the freeway for reasons that were not yet known.
The 65-year-old passenger from Kallmünz had gotten out of the damaged car in the side lane.
Then the man was hit by a van, the Siegenburg fire brigade announced.

The freeway was completely closed until 10 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
By order of the public prosecutor's office, an expert was commissioned to clarify the course of the accident.
According to the police, the Siegenburg fire brigade and the Autobahnmeisterei were also on duty at the scene of the accident.
