Florian Silbereisen also invited Ross Antony to the "Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights".

But when the singer performed, he swallowed a lot of artificial snow.

He could laugh about it, the TV viewers not so much.

Suhl - "This man always has the most original gift tips every year," says Florian Silbereisen, looking forward to Ross Antony's appearance.

And as you are used to from the pop singer, he performs the German version of "Let It Snow!" full of energy and in a good mood.

let it snow

let it snow!”

But Ross Antony's Advent festival performance doesn't go as planned.

"Did my spin, and then BOOM!": Ross Antony swallows artificial snow

During one of his pirouettes, Ross Antony gets a full load of artificial snow in his face - and a large part of it ends up in his mouth.

While the studio audience applauds enthusiastically, Ross Antony laughs at himself.

"What's happening?

Have you swallowed a bit of snow?” asks Florian Silbereisen and tries not to get infected by his Schlager colleague's laughter.

Ross Antony was also there at the "Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights".

But on stage there was an artificial snow breakdown.

He found it funny, the TV viewers embarrassed.

"I walked over, did my spin, and then BOOM!" Ross Antony describes the fateful moment.

But when Ross Antony splutters and tries to free his tongue and palate from the artificial snowflakes, Florian Silbereisen, one of the biggest German hit stars of all time, also has to laugh.

Why 100,000 lights?

In 2010 the Christmas show went on the air as "The Advent Festival of Folk Music", in 2011 the name was changed.

The reason: since 2009, the light of peace has been passed on annually until 100,000 lights are on in the show.

Since November 26, 2011, the program has therefore been titled “The Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights” in line with tradition.

Ross Antony chokes on artificial snow: mishap at the Advent festival causes ridicule

While Florian Silbereisen and Ross Antony can laugh heartily about the artificial snow incident, TV viewers find the Advent festival breakdown rather embarrassing.

The mocking comments were therefore not long in coming on the Internet.

"Hasn't Ross Antony gotten his neck full again?" Writes a viewer.

Another Twitter user is torn, writing, "Gorgeous... and a little spooky."

"Serious?

Ross Anthony … to be ashamed of others,” writes another viewer, annoyed.

But Florian Silbereisen also had to take a lot of criticism.

Christmas mood, the peace light and lots of hit stars.

What could go wrong?

If you believe the viewers of "The Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights", quite a lot.
