With its air of an ocean liner splitting the waves on the great Parisian boulevards, Le Grand Rex seems eternal.
However, behind this quiet appearance, an armada is working to keep this historic cinema above water.
The motto of Paris "Fluctuat nec mergitur" ("It is beaten by the waves, but does not sink") goes well with the complexion of this building which celebrates its 90th anniversary with pomp.
Created by Jacques Haïk on December 8, 1932, the 2,700-seat hall, administered by the Hellmann family for three generations, wanted to put the dishes in the big ones.
On the program, in addition to the unveiling of an architecture renovated over the past two years, there will of course be the magic of the waters and the preview of Steven Spielberg's new film,
