Portugal's victory against Switzerland made Gonçalo Ramos the protagonist.

The Benfica centre-forward, making his fourth international cap and first since starting, scored a hat-trick to pave his way to the quarter-finals against Morocco.

With his prowess he equaled Miro Klose who in 2002, in his first match in the World Cup, scored a hat-trick against Saudi Arabia.

His nickname is 'Feiticeiro', or Sorcerer, due to the good luck he frequently shows in game tackles.

His exultation mimicking two guns with his hands ("because I love the far west and western movies") has already gone viral, meanwhile Ramos says that "all of this is a dream, I feel like I'm walking on clouds and I just hope that this moment can to continue.

In a World Cup, everything happens quickly, and it's already time to focus on the next match, against Morocco". "I don't know if I'll be a starter again - he continues -, I can only give my all on the pitch and see what happens.

Ronaldo?

As captain he always has a word of encouragement for everyone, and he did it for me too".

Yesterday Gonçalo Ramos, son of art because his father was a former striker for Farense and Salgueiros ("he is the one who gave me the passion for football, even if I've never seen him play"), with his 21 years, he overtook Ronaldo in the ranking of the youngest Portuguese goalscorers in a World Cup: CR7 scored for the first time in Germany 2006, when he 22 years old.
