Ready to resign at the end of the week, the president of the ANC (African National Congress) has decided to fight to the end to prove his innocence.
The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ANC, the governing body of the ruling party, finally decided to support the head of state by rejecting the report which incriminates him.
This political lifeline will enable Cyril Ramaphosa to run for the presidency of the ANC at the elective conference to be held from 16th to 20th December next in Johannesburg.
